This is private sign-up shift for pre-trained Check-In Volunteer Leaders. To obtain this link you should have had a conversation with a HeroWork staff member. This critical role will require one 90-minute virtual training shift and 1 two-hour onsite training shift the week before the project starts. Exact dates and times will be communicated directly.
You will be responsible for checking-in volunteers, ensuring their waivers are signed, safety videos watched, and that they are orientated to site. While this may sound somewhat simple, there are complexities to this role, which is why training is provided in advance.
You will also be leading 1 to 2 other check-in volunteers who have not received training in advance. They will be taking on simpler tasks, such as handing out t-shirts, providing name tags, cleaning PPE, etc.
Long pants and closed-toed shoes are still mandatory.
